About our Kodai-ji Kanaami-Tsuji Shop

The areas nearby Kyoto’s Kodai-ji and Nanzen-ji temples have long been famous for tofu cuisine, and our tofu servers made by the kiku-dashi (“chrysanthemum pattern”) technique were born to adorn these dishes.

Located near the entrances of Kodai-ji temple and prominent shrines, our Kodai-ji Kanaami-Tsuji Shop is situated inside a renovated traditional inn.

In front of our shop, there is a pickled vegetable (tsukemono) maker and a lacquerware shop, while behind is a chopstick store.

Conveniently located in a central tourist district, we hope you can visit us next time you visit Kyoto.
